Blue Spruce
In winter's chill, beneath the steel-gray sky, Blue Spruce stands tall, adorned with glistening snow, Branches welcome nests; the birds draw nigh, Fat squirrels scurry swift with nuts to stow Beneath green carpet knit by ivy's weave. Tree frogs sing sweet songs of Springtime grace; The staunch spruce whispers back: Believe That beauty dwells deep each hidden place, Every treasure placed in nature’s care, Cradled by her needles blue and green; Life thrives anew baby birds peep there, Each moment cherished—fragile yet unseen A home for creatures, both the small and wise, Blue Spruce - a sight for our sore eyes.
