Spell

Softly on a wet spring day, I paused to ponder Nature's way, Breathed the scent of her fresh air, Felt her light rain on my hair.

Her grass poked soft between my toes, Her flower perfume filled my nose, Clouds formed caps in Rainier's skies, Warm sunlight caused fence-steam to rise.

I looked across green meadow's way, Watched young deer with mothers play. I took a moment to inhale, As I slipped under Nature's spell.
